About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking BE/BC subspecialty-trained or Emergency Department-focused diagnostic radiologists to join a well-established and growing radiology team in the Austin area. These positions offer exceptional flexibility, hybrid remote/onsite work options, and multiple scheduling models designed to support a variety of professional and lifestyle preferences.

Schedule

Candidates may choose from several scheduling structures:

  • Traditional Hybrid Schedule: Hybrid remote/onsite daytime coverage with no evenings or weekends.
  • Alternating Week Hybrid Schedule: Every-other-week + 13 weekends hybrid remote/onsite daytime coverage.
  • Evening Remote ED/Inpatient Schedule: Fully remote evening coverage (2 PM - 10 PM) on a 7-on/14-off schedule with 15 additional shifts per year.

These flexible models provide opportunities for strong work-life balance while maintaining a collaborative and high-quality clinical practice environment.

Responsibilities

Subspecialties sought: Abdominal, Cardiothoracic, Emergency, Musculoskeletal, and Neuroradiology. Daytime responsibilities will primarily focus within each subspecialty and include a minor mix of general diagnostic radiology. Breast imaging, Neuroradiology, and Interventional Radiology are covered by dedicated subspecialists. PET/CT experience is optional but welcomed. Onsite coverage includes both hospital and outpatient imaging centers. Shift and per-click internal moonlighting options are available.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Texas
  • Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology through the appropriate specialty board
