Summary

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7:30am–8pm. Will be scanning for the ED and In/Outpatient community members.

About the Role

Under the direction of a Radiologist, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures for use in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience to be eligible for registration as a Sonographer through American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • License/Certifications: Current American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Certification or full registration in at least one specialty area is expected according to departmental/local health system requirements. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: Six months of Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred.

Pay

$37.09 to $50.17 per hour (compensation for part-time positions is prorated based on scheduled hours and FTE). Shift differentials or other incentives may apply where applicable.
