Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound and other procedures on patients as directed.
• Records findings and forwards images to reading physician.
• Obtains and records all pertinent clinical information relating to the procedure.
• Reviews charts for patient history.
• Maintains ultrasound supplies and cleans equipment.

Requirements

• Show knowledge of ultrasound equipment and ALARA radiation safety.
• Work independently to prioritize tasks and perform job with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate good judgment in handling unforeseen situations and seek guidance as needed.
• Perform work accurately and promptly in a busy environment.

Education and Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of prior OBGYN sonographer experience.
• Proficiency in GYN and all OB trimester scans.
• ARDMS OBGYN registered.
• BLS certified.
• NT credentialed (preferred).

Physical Requirements

• Requires prolonged standing and walking.
• Frequent bending and reaching.
• Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Requires proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills.

Pay

$37.50 - 47.00 per hour.
