Diagnostic Imaging Support Associate

About the role
As a Radiology Tech Aide, you will perform specific tasks supporting the delivery of patient care in an assigned area under the direction of a Registered Technologist and/or Registered Nurse. This role involves assisting with patient intake, positioning, and preparation for exams, as well as maintaining examination rooms and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving patients in the exam room and proper positioning for exams.
- Discuss exams and preps with patients to ensure clarity and comfort.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring equipment is clean and ready for use.
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
- Stock supplies and manage inventory in the department.
- Assist in the transport of patients to and from designated exam areas.
- Record patient history on screening questionnaires.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- At least one year of previous medical experience (preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Bilingual capabilities in Spanish (desirable but not required).
- Must become certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support within the introductory period and maintain clinical competency during employment.
