Diagnostic Imaging Clerk

About the role

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical tasks of a routine but varied nature in conjunction with moderate but proficient typing, including responsibility for coordinating patient scheduling.
• Convey essential patient information to members of the healthcare team.
• Assist the department director and/or supervisor.
• Perform duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate – Required
• Post high school training and/or education preferred
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served in Diagnostic Imaging
