We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we seek must pursue solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity, and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. Shops provide a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support, and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicles using your knowledge and skills; the team performs the repairs
  • Continuously build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Work closely with the service department and communicate guest concerns effectively
  • Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Requirements

  • Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
  • ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication
  • Desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
  • Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
  • Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
