Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas/objectives for ADC Products.
  • Collaborate with various channels, Managed Care and Retail and Point of Care representatives.
  • Establish strong relationships with a broad base of internal and external health care constituents (e.g., physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, etc.).
  • Keep current on internal and competitive products and positioning by utilizing a variety of resources.
  • Understand and convey information professionally and accurately.
  • Effectively plan for and follow through with short- and long-term results based on business trends by developing plans that include goals, action plans, time frames and the appropriate resources.
  • Keep current in market trends and competitor strategy.
  • Engage in sales-focused activities including: Conveying information and ideas clearly and concisely, answering questions, responding to others, and listening carefully to understand the needs of providers and patients.
  • Utilize and distribute appropriate resources.
  • Handle disagreements and objections by exploring perspectives and tactfully addressing them.
  • Develop and implement plans (e.g., territory, account and call) that include goals, action items, time frames and resources.
  • Regularly track and report progress against plan, redirecting efforts as necessary.
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely fashion. Document daily activity in call reporting / tracking system.
  • Maintain accountability for all samples in accordance with Division guidelines.
  • Work within quality guidelines established for compliance. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Comply with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years previous experience with commendable sales track record from previous positions preferably in health care industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, high energy, integrity and ambition to succeed.
  • A strong preference given to candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Diabetes clinical knowledge and experience calling on Endocrinologists.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day).
  • Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $68,000.00 – $136,000.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Schedule

Standard TRAVEL: Yes, 15 % of the Time
