About the role
The Diabetes Sales Associate plays a crucial role in growing sales for Abbott's FreeStyle Libre portfolio. This role involves developing customer relationships, closing new sales, and enhancing market presence.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales quotas/objectives for FreeStyle Libre portfolio.
- Leverage company-generated targets to prospect for new business and close for new sales in expanded marketplace.
- Collaborate with various channels partners within HCP, Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care organizations.
- Establish strong relationships with a broad base of internal and external health care constituents (e.g., physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, etc.).
- Engage in a friendly, respectful manner, focusing on the needs and interests of others, while motivating change.
- Stay updated on internal and competitive products and positions by utilizing a variety of resources.
- Develop proficiency in the Company’s sales model to ensure product adoption and utilization along the buying cycle.
- Convey information clearly and accurately, developing business plans based on current trends and goals.
- Deliver sales results as assigned in primary care and endocrinology markets, driving broad awareness and education of CGM and the FreeStyle Libre brand.
- Tailor sales approaches to meet customer needs by utilizing appropriate resources.
- Handle objections and explore perspectives tactfully, addressing them appropriately.
- Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years previous sales experience with a successful sales track record from previous positions.
- Excellent communication skills, high energy, integrity, and ambition to succeed.
Preferred
- Sales experience in the healthcare industry.
- B2B sales experience.

Pay Range
The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
