How you’ll make an impact in this role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our established, team-based Endocrinology practice at Ascension Saint Agnes. Operating in a highly collaborative environment with strong physician-NP partnerships, this role is perfect for a clinician passionate about advanced chronic disease management.
- Conduct specialized patient assessments, order diagnostic studies, and manage complex chronic health conditions in close collaboration with our physician partners.
- Counsel and educate patients and families regarding individualized treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and community resources to improve long-term disease management and health outcomes.
- Optimize advanced diabetes technologies by interpreting Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) and insulin pump data, making precise clinical adjustments, and training patients to confidently use these tools.

Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
- Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.
Additional Preferences We're Seeking
- Experience working within a dedicated diabetes/endocrinology practice, or extensive experience managing complex diabetes patients in a primary care setting.
- Proven ability to interpret CGM and pump data, execute clinical adjustments, and lead patient training.
