Travel Retail and Distributors Marketing Director Location: Miami, Florida Department: Marketing Reports to: VP of Marketing Company Overview DG Beauty is the in-house Beauty division of Dolce & Gabbana, bringing the brand’s heritage, creativity, and craftsmanship to the fragrance and makeup categories. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Travel Retail and Distributors Marketing Director to lead the marketing and business strategy for these channels across the Americas. This role will define the long-term channel strategy, identify key growth opportunities, strengthen profitability, and ensure investments are prioritized based on business impact, ROI, and market potential. Role Overview The Director will act as the strategic marketing leader for Travel Retail and Distributor markets, partnering closely with Commercial, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, and global and regional Marketing teams. The role will define channel priorities across distribution, assortment, pricing, sales expectations, launches, investment allocation, and market expansion, while overseeing overall brand performance, profitability, marketing ROI, and P&L results. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in luxury beauty, fragrances, Travel Retail, distributor-led markets, and commercial management, with the ability to translate market, financial, and consumer insights into clear business strategies and action plans. Key Responsibilities Channel Strategy and Business Growth Define and lead the long-term strategy for Travel Retail and Distributor markets across the Americas.Establish channel priorities across distribution, assortment, pricing, sales expectations, investment, and key growth drivers.Identify business, market expansion, partnership, and visibility opportunities that can drive sustainable growth.Develop strategic roadmaps and provide clear priorities and direction to Marketing Managers and local distributor teams.Partner with Commercial leadership to align marketing strategies with sales, profitability, and business objectives. Brand, Commercial and Portfolio Strategy Lead the brand strategy for Travel Retail and Distributor markets, ensuring strong positioning and sustainable development.Define sell-out building blocks and strategic priorities by market, category, product, and channel.Identify opportunities across assortment, distribution, pricing, launches, and consumer activation to improve performance.Bring a strong commercial perspective to marketing decisions, balancing brand building, sales growth, profitability, and long-term potential.Define product and portfolio priorities based on consumer demand, market opportunity, competitive landscape, and financial performance. Investment, Budget and Financial Performance Define the annual investment and marketing budget strategy across markets, accounts, launches, and strategic initiatives.Ensure investments are prioritized based on ROI, productivity, profitability, and business potential.Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to evaluate brand P&L performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.Monitor budget performance and ensure targets are achieved with minimal deviation from plan.Recommend investment increases, reductions, or reallocations based on performance and strategic importance. Performance Analysis and Business Insights Establish and monitor key financial and commercial KPIs, including sales growth, sell-in, sell-out, ROI, profitability, investment productivity, and launch performance.Analyze performance across markets, accounts, categories, and products to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.Translate market, financial, consumer, and competitive insights into strategic recommendations and business priorities.Evaluate underperforming markets or initiatives and partner with Commercial teams to define action plans.Prepare strategic business reviews and recommendations for regional and global leadership. Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the senior Marketing partner for Travel Retail operators, distributors, retailers, and commercial partners across the Americas.Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on business priorities.Guide local and regional teams responsible for the execution of launches, activations, promotional programs, and market initiatives.Build strong relationships with external partners and ensure alignment between DG Beauty's long-term strategy and local market opportunities. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience within Marketing, Commercial, Sales, or Business Management, preferably within luxury beauty, fragrances, cosmetics, fashion, or premium consumer goods.Strong experience within Travel Retail and distributor-led markets is required.Previous senior marketing leadership experience with regional or multi-market responsibility.Strong financial and analytical acumen, including experience with budgets, P&L, ROI, profitability, and investment productivity.Strong understanding of distribution, assortment, pricing, sell-in, sell-out, brand management, and market development.Proven ability to define strategy, identify growth opportunities, and influence cross-functional teams.Excellent strategic thinking, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus.Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Americas.
