DEXA/Radiologic Technologist, Healthy Aging Center (Full Time)

About the role

Responsible for coordinating and performing an age-specific patient assessment prior to and during the Radiologic procedure, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure, and recording the images. Utilizes radiology equipment accurately, evaluates the quality of the study, and performs procedure management. Communicates with the patient, family, and other healthcare workers and contributes to the efficient operation of the department.

• Demonstrate the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations
• Demonstrate the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict
• Perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned
• Follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency
• Comply with all Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; BS degree preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current State of Montana Radiologic Technology license required
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
• Current BLS certification

Schedule

Monday - Friday. No Weekend. No Call.

Pay

Non-Exempt. Starting Wage $27.86/hourly. Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
