About the role
The Dewatering Sales Product Specialist will lead the revenue for Rain for Rent’s Dewatering products and services in a designated region. They will work with stakeholders to understand market trends, competition, and develop new growth strategies for dewatering projects in mining, construction, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales targets within the region.
- Establish and maintain strong and professional customer/client relations; manage major projects.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement dewatering applications to meet customer needs.
- Create successful sales and marketing approaches to address customer needs.
- Proactively seek and win new market opportunities in dewatering and water treatment markets.
- Understand filtration principles and job-related regulatory guidelines in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales teams to generate sales reports, proposals, and quotes.
- Regularly consult with various internal departments and personnel including Engineering/Instrumentation/Contracts to design scopes, solutions, and job specifics for contracts.
- Update CRM software with accurate and prompt entries of all sales activities.
- Increase market share among end-user customers in the assigned territory.
- Act in accordance with Rain for Rent’s Safety culture and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in mechanical, civil engineering, hydrology, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Sales Experience in dewatering.
- Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience (highly preferred).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and negotiating skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects across different market sectors and geographic regions simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Skills
- Understanding of filtration principles, including particle removal, filter media selection, and system design.
- Strong understanding of job-related regulatory guidelines in the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
