The Role
The Marketing Research Lead at JerseySTEM is a strategic thinker and data-driven professional responsible for enhancing outreach to corporations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the corporate landscape to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Uses data-driven methods to understand corporate behavior, philanthropic interests, and engagement preferences.
- Develop and implement surveys to gather insights from corporations and other stakeholders.
- Gathers information through various research methods, including interviews, focus groups, and secondary research.
- Interprets data to draw meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Works closely with the marketing team to translate research findings into effective marketing strategies.
- Ensures alignment between research insights and marketing initiatives.
- Presents research findings to internal stakeholders, including executives and team members, in a clear and compelling manner.
- Creates visual and written reports to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap.
- Proven experience in marketing research, preferably in a nonprofit or corporate partnership environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Resourceful, can-do attitude.
- Experience leading a function (i.e. team, department manager, etc) and managing others.
- Comfort working in a 'virtual organization' with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, salesforce).
