About the role
The Corporate Partnership Development Lead at JerseySTEM serves as a key member of the corporate outreach team, focusing on identifying and engaging potential corporate partners. This role requires a proactive approach to establishing connections and building relationships that align with JerseySTEM's mission and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential corporate partners, understanding their goals, CSR objectives, and potential alignment with JerseySTEM's programs.
- Research and identify potential corporate partners, understanding their goals, CSR objectives, and potential alignment with JerseySTEM's programs.
- Create customized partnership proposals that address the specific needs and interests of prospective partners.
- Communicate with DEVT leadership on the progress of efforts.
- Attend Corporate related activities involving those organizations they are responsible for.
- Attend weekly mandatory virtual meetings.
- Provide marketing ideas and concepts for materials and opportunities for promoting our organization to potential donors.
Requirements
- Understanding of Corporate reporting and approval processes.
- Familiarity with a particular market space (e.g., key corporations, industry specific events, industry leaders).
- Previous outreach or cold calling experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel to a local Corporation for appropriate in-person presentations and meetings (preferred).
- Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap.
- Resourceful, can-do attitude.
- Experience with Business-to-Business marketing and/or selling.
- Experience with community outreach, relationship development, not shy on phone or email.
- Comfort working in a 'virtual organization' with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, salesforce).
