The partner company is seeking a DevSecOps Research and Development Engineer based in the United States. This role involves contributing to advanced research and engineering initiatives focused on secure, reliable, and innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize secure automation solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Enhance existing systems through updates, automation, troubleshooting, and technology improvements.
- Work with engineering teams and stakeholders to identify technical risks, requirements, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Present technical briefings, project updates, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage Linux-based infrastructures and support secure computing environments.
- Utilize scripting and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve operational performance.
- Apply cloud technologies, containerization platforms, and open-source tools to support modern software development practices.
- Maintain and monitor system performance using logging, search, and aggregation platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and proactively identify potential system challenges.
- Collaborate with team members while working independently and managing priorities effectively.
Requirements
- Experience in software development operations, infrastructure management, automation, and secure technology environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, technical curiosity, and excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical processes clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience working with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux/Unix administration.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Ansible.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with open-source technologies and cloud platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and analytics tools such as Splunk, Elastic, or Prometheus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Able to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities.
