DevSecOps Engineer (Top Secret)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a major federal modernization program located in Huntsville, AL. The DevSecOps Engineer will drive secure CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure delivery, and DevSecOps best practices across AWS and hybrid environments supporting mission-critical applications. DevSecOps Engineer Responsibilities: Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deploymentsDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologiesIntegrate security controls, compliance validations, and automated vulnerability scanning within deployment pipelinesSupport cloud and hybrid environment provisioning, monitoring, logging, and release activitiesCollaborate with engineering, QA, data, and product teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve automation processes DevSecOps Engineer Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering, secure automation, or related disciplinesExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platformsHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS environmentsKnowledge of secure software development practices, automated security scanning, and compliance-focused deploymentsExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellBachelor’s degree requiredActive Top Secret Security Clearance required DevSecOps Engineer Compensation: Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 (dependent upon experience)Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Paid Holidays This job opens for applications on October 13, 2026.
