Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a major federal modernization program in Huntsville, AL. The DevSecOps Engineer will drive secure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure-as-code initiatives, and cloud-based delivery across AWS and hybrid environments. DevSecOps Engineer - Location: Huntsville, AL Responsibilities of the DevSecOps Engineer include: Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deploymentsDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologiesIntegrate security controls, compliance validations, and automated vulnerability scanning into deployment pipelinesSupport containerized application deployments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native servicesCollaborate with engineering, QA, cloud, and product teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve automation processes Qualifications for the DevSecOps Engineer include: 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering, secure automation, or related disciplinesActive Top Secret Security Clearance requiredExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platformsHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and configuration management toolsStrong knowledge of AWS cloud environments, secure software development practices, and infrastructure automationExperience with automated security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Anchore, Twistlock, or Nessus preferredBachelor's degree required Compensation for the DevSecOps Engineer includes: $165,000 - $175,000Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave (where required by law), and Paid Holidays This job opens for applications on September 30, 2026.
