DevSecOps Engineer Principal

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer Principal to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on building and securing modern cloud infrastructure that supports AI-driven workloads and scalable deployment pipelines. You will partner closely with engineering teams to embed security into every stage of delivery while maintaining a strong operational posture. The position also plays an important part in compliance readiness, helping ensure systems and processes align with established security frameworks and internal standards. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure AWS infrastructure using OpenTofu and GitLab CI/CD
• Deploy and optimize Amazon EKS clusters for AI workloads
• Integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines
• Build MLOps/AIOps platforms for AI model deployment
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and internal security standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployment operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
• Expertise in AWS, Amazon EKS, Linux, and GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with security compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53
• Hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps, including container security and vulnerability remediation
• Familiarity with Generative AI and MLOps/AIOps platforms

Pay

$144,500 – $195,500 annually
