DevSecOps Engineer
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (minimum of three consecutive years of U.S. residency). Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) required. Remote position, full-time, estimated start date August 2026.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle, automating infrastructure and security validations, and supporting modern DevSecOps practices. This role works closely with development, QA, and security teams to build scalable, secure, and compliant software delivery pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
- Build and support cloud-native infrastructure using DevSecOps best practices.
- Automate continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Automate vulnerability scanning and security testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) validation processes.
- Implement policy-as-code and compliance automation.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to integrate security controls into application delivery.
- Monitor and improve CI/CD pipeline performance, reliability, and security posture.
- Establish metrics and reporting for pipeline efficiency, application security, and compliance.
- Promote secure coding practices and DevSecOps methodologies across project teams.
- Document DevSecOps processes, automation workflows, and security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of professional DevSecOps or related engineering experience.
- Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).
- Current Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Experience designing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience implementing cloud-native infrastructure solutions.
- Experience automating vulnerability scanning and security validation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience implementing policy-as-code and security automation.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices.
- Experience collaborating with development, QA, and security teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- DevSecOps GitHub GitLab CI/CD Build Management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
