About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Hazelwood, MO, supporting the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program. This pivotal role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining non-embedded software throughout its entire lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and strict government regulations.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and optimizing secure, compliant software delivery pipelines, facilitating systems integrations, and resolving issues within the deployment processes. The DevSecOps Engineer will work within an Agile environment, establishing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, embedding security and compliance checks, and automating build, deployment, and environment provisioning tasks. Additionally, this role includes documenting system configurations, deployment steps, and operational procedures to ensure clarity and consistency across teams.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field, along with significant hands-on experience.
• Have an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Demonstrate at least three years of experience in DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline engineering, with additional experience in configuring and managing artifact repositories.
• Show strong analytical skills, familiarity with Agile development methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred qualifications include advanced certifications such as Security+, SSCP, GSEC, PenTest+, CySA+, CISSP, or CASP+ and experience with pipeline automation tools like SonarQube, Fortify, or Selenium.
• Show proficiency with Azure DevOps, repository management techniques such as Git Flow, and artifact repositories like Artifactory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines within an Agile software development environment to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.
• Embed automated security and compliance checks into the CI/CD pipeline to uphold government and industry standards.
• Manage repository management structures, including version control and artifact repositories, ensuring consistency and security.
• Maintain artifact repository environments, including configuration, security, and access controls.
• Automate build, deployment, and environment provisioning tasks to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Document system configurations, deployment procedures, and operational workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
• Debug and resolve issues related to the delivery pipeline, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system security, performance, and compliance.

Pay

The estimated base pay range for this position is $93,000 to $130,680.
