DevSecOps Engineer
Basic Qualifications
Acceptable degree programs will include only science and technology related programs such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics etc. Candidate will have knowledge of basic Agile practices such as scrums, coding standards, unit testing and configuration management, hardware configuration, database, storage, and system administration. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Job Description
Performs tech planning, design, development, integration, verification and validation for total system lifecycle with agile methodologies. Analyzes performed at all levels of system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal, incorporating design methods and standards for Cyber Security, Software and Hardware infrastructure. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems/questions in computer language. Ensures the logical and system conversion of customer/product requirements into total system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, cost constraints and align to Software and Hardware deployment pipelines and factories. Performs functional and timeline analysis, detailed trade and requirement allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into Hardware and Software feature definitions and acceptance criteria. Applies standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies Hardware and Software knowledge, Cyber Security standards in business/mission applications, and feedback from users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve program problems, input/output data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures Software standards are met. Validates incorporation of features and use cases into implemented designs.
This position is contingent upon program funding Fall of 2026.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages: Java, C++, C#, Python.
- Abilites Configure a file server with NAS mounted storage.
- Diagnose and repair complex hardware and software issues.
- Understanding of deployment of Virtual Machines.
- Understanding of deployment with Containers.
