Job Location Remote, United States Tracking Code 1401-383 Position Type Full-Time/Regular Core4ce is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to deliver containerization engineering, virtualization engineering, cloud engineering, systems engineering, software engineering, system administration, configuration management, cybersecurity, training curriculum development, technical support, test and evaluation, lifecycle logistics, and sustainment for a large DoD program. Responsibilities Engineering new container servicesUnderstanding customer requirements, needs and pain points and evaluating available, best of class solutions.Sustain existing container orchestration systemsSupport system architecture design and implementation effortsManaging accounts and network rightsManaging systems resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverabilityImplementing security procedures and toolsDeveloping and documenting systems administration standard operating proceduresTroubleshoot compute infrastructure/software interface and interoperability problemsEnsuring Kubernetes environment availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency; maintaining systems configurationManaging the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancementsEnsuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practicesThis position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth. Requirements Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearanceMinimum of seven (7) years administering and hardening of Linux Operating Systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.Five (5) years of experience designing and deploying hardened Kubernetes clusters and cluster orchestration platforms, such as Rancher and OpenShift. This should include performing the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of dev, staging and production environments.Minimum of two (2) years with the Windows Operating system.Two (2) years of experience with Amazon AWS, including: EKS, EC2, S3, EBS, Load-Balancers, and RDSExperience with Kubernetes tools, such as Gitlab, Harbor, ArgoCD, Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (Stackrox), Keycloak, etc.Experience operating in a DoD environment, in particular navigating network, access, and security/accreditation policies and requirements.Ability to obtain Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification within 6 months of hire Preferred Experience Terraform, Ansible, RKE1, RKE2, EKSFamiliarity with deploying and managing Windows container environments is a plusExperience working in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment with an Agile methodology preferred Why Work for Us?
