DevSecOps and Cloud Integration Engineer, Senior with Security Clearance

About the role

Potawatomi Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with a security clearance to join our team in Ogden, Utah. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in application development, focusing on .NET, Python, C#, and C++ for large-scale, integrated applications. Experience with AWS-specific DevSecOps tools, infrastructure-as-code using AWS CloudFormation, and integration technologies such as GraphQL and Kafka is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline in AWS environments.
• Implement and enforce security standards, including STIG compliance and patch management in AWS.
• Design and implement secure APIs and middleware solutions (REST, SOAP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and interoperability.
• Ensure compliance with DoD security standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-based systems.

Requirements

• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in application development.
• Experience with AWS-specific DevSecOps tools and infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and graphic design tools.
• Familiarity with DoD security standards and compliance processes.

Skills

• Proficiency in graphic design principles and tools like Adobe XD or Figma.
• Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including security integration and automation.
• Experience with system integration, API development, and middleware.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and containerization technologies.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Self-starter with Agile methodologies and proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
