About the role
The Devops / Systems Engineer will work on the Cloud Automation Advancements Team, implementing the next generation desktop and web-based production and dissemination system. This role requires experience in cloud environments, Windows Servers, and custom code deployment.
Responsibilities
- Stand up and maintain Windows Servers in cloud environments
- Deploy and maintain custom code, COTS, and GOTS to those environments
- Lead systems administration and Devops activities supporting analytics, exploitation, production, and dissemination using web, remote desktop, and cloud technologies
Requirements
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
- BS in Information Systems, IT, CS or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with cloud/Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- Understanding of custom code development/reviews
- Experience with DevSecOps methodologies and workflow
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab functionality, error codes, and scripting
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift
- Experience developing web applications with Python
- Proactive self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies
- Experience with AWS services/technologies (CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS)
- Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, Load Balancing, Autoscaling)
- Experience with troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying Docker containers
- Experience writing, maintaining, and describing architecture diagrams
- Experience with team collaboration tools and administration (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
- Microsoft and/or AWS certifications preferred
Skills
- Strong understanding of system design and architecture
- Proficiency in custom code development and reviews
- Expertise in DevSecOps methodologies and workflow
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab functionality
- Knowledge of AWS Serverless architectures
- Experience with Docker container deployment
- Ability to write and describe architecture diagrams
- Experience with team collaboration tools and administration

Pay
The pay range for this position is $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 annually.
Schedule
Program core hours are 9am-3pm ET. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Schedule changes will be arranged as needed.
