DevOps Engineer - TS/SCI Full Scope Poly

Piper Companies is hiring a DevOps Engineer with a TS/SCI CI Polygraph for a large technical organization in Raleigh, NC. This is a long-term contract requiring 5 days on site.

Design, implement, and secure scalable solutions within classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and secure scalable system architectures for classified environments
• Lead container orchestration using Kubernetes and modern DevSecOps practices
• Automate provisioning and configuration via Terraform, Terragrunt, and other IaC tools
• Administer and secure AWS environments; integrate cloud-native services securely
• Ensure system hardening, patch management, and continuous compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, security, and operations teams

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in classified environments
• Expertise in containerization technologies (deployment, management, and security best practices)
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Terragrunt) for provisioning and management
• Hands-on experience with AWS for security configurations and service integration
• DoD 8570 or DoD 8140 certification, or Security+, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, GSE

$140,000 – $180,000
