Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines for C++ or Python applications, utilizing Kubernetes/K8 deployment and administration, Helm chart creation, and pod definition.
- Manage and configure Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Identify, debug, and correct defects in existing software, utilizing effective troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues efficiently.
- Configure and optimize GPU resources for performance-critical applications, utilizing CUDA or other relevant technologies.
- Implement automated testing and deployment scripts, utilizing tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system architects and project managers, to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on schedule.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, processes, and interfaces to facilitate knowledge sharing and project continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 12 years or more of professional experience.
- Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
- Possess all capabilities as defined by the GG Statement of Work (SOW) Appendix B for the USG standard SWE labor category level 3.
- You must possess the requisite security clearance and polygraphs to apply to this position.

- Kubernetes: Cluster design, deployment, and lifecycle management; Rancher; RKE2 implementation; Control-plane component configuration & troubleshooting; Worker-node management, configuration, and lifecycle automation; Workload management (scheduling, affinity, resources, scaling); High-availability cluster configuration; Cluster monitoring, networking, and storage; Storage classes, PVC, PC, integration with external storage systems; Security concepts & implementation (RBAC, service accounts, secrets, certificate management, policy engines); Helm familiarity; CKA certification – a plus
- Kubernetes application development / deployment principles
- CNCF projects & tools
- DevOps principles: GitOps, builds, pipelines
- Networking: Switching, routing, VLANs
- Advanced Linux (RHEL / Rocky / EL9): OS configuration & troubleshooting, Service management, Hardening, PXE boot & automated OS deployment
- Ansible: Playbook design, Role development, Collection creation & management
- Development & Scripting: Python familiarity, Bash scripting experience, Go (desired); YAML & JSON manipulation; Git workflows
- Software testing: Unit-testing knowledge/experience
- Collaboration & Communication: Cross-functional team collaboration; Stakeholder communication & requirements gathering; Presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Domain knowledge: RF data-processing familiarity; RF application development familiarity

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $166,900.00 – $309,900.00
