About The Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely across the United States, with primary hubs in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, and Portland. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with development teams to automate deployment pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and optimize cloud workloads across multiple platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your expertise will be instrumental in building monitoring and observability solutions to ensure system health and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a consulting environment, where adaptability and innovative thinking are highly valued.
Qualifications
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
- Proficiency in configuration management with Ansible
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless software deployment
- Provision and manage infrastructure as code, ensuring repeatability and reliability
- Containerize applications and orchestrate deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Automate operational tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML
- Develop monitoring and observability solutions with Prometheus and Grafana to ensure system health
- Operate and optimize workloads across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, security, and system reliability
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, monitor system performance, and document processes and configurations
- Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure and deployment strategies
