Responsibilities
- Writing and reviewing Python code.
- Container development and orchestration (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes/Rancher, ArgoCD).
- Develop and deploy DevSecOps capabilities within a multi-project, multi-team environment.
- Understanding git workflows (branching, etc.) and release engineering approaches to software development.
- Delivering infrastructure-as-code solutions using CloudFormation, Terraform, and/or Packer.
- Building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
- Working within the constraints of NIST 800-53, 800-171, CMMC, or related compliance policies (e.g., CIS).
- Troubleshooting Linux system networking, storage, and related services (i.e., HTTP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLANs, etc.).
- Develop automation for existing processes in a cloud environment using tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, and Packer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in each of the following: Git workflows (branching, etc.) and release engineering approaches to software development.
- Building highly automated infrastructure and cloud-native applications deployed to a major cloud provider.
- Delivering infrastructure-as-code solutions using CloudFormation, Terraform, and/or Packer.
- Advanced skills and expertise in troubleshooting Linux system networking, storage, and related services (i.e., HTTP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLANs, etc.).
- Writing and reviewing professional grade python code with testing.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of AWS Organizations for centralized user policy management (Nice to Have).
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting for system automation (Nice to Have).
- Understanding of networking (VLANs, firewalls, subnets, proxy servers) in Linux environments (Nice to Have).
