About the role

The ideal candidate will be a DevOps engineer with a proven track record in AWS environments, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code. They should have experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible, and be familiar with Linux system engineering and security practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key projects in design, development, and post-release support of the Salesforce platform and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to efficiently iterate on automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices, with AI as a core part of the development workflow.
  • Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining the shared system context, ensuring AI operates accurately and reliably.
  • Evaluate code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in AWS environments, including infra build and optimization.
  • Skilled in IaaS based TCP/IP networking protocols and associated components like transit gateway (tgw), vpc, security groups, and Route tables.
  • 3+ years deploying distributed apps with containers (Docker) & orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE).
  • 3+ years development experience in Infrastructure as code and config management such as Terraform and/or Ansible.
  • 3+ years Linux system engineering experience.
  • 2+ years developing or managing infrastructure and application security for Highly Sensitive Customer Data & Environments (IAM, CI/CD, PKI).
  • 2+ years experience deploying with a CI orchestration service (Spinnaker, Jenkins).
  • 2+ years working experience scripting/programming language (Shell, Python, Golang).
  • Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools such as Splunk / ELKA.
  • Experience developing security & compliance into pipelines such as (OPA, Checkov, Twistlock, Prisma).
  • Genuine AI-first approach to engineering.
  • Advanced prompt engineering skills and the ability to write precise, structured prompts and cultivate the system context that makes AI outputs reliable, secure, and production-ready.
  • Strong analytical skills and a dedication to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with proficiency in both written and oral communication.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen operating on U.S. Soil with ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role, including a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan. Citizenship will be verified through two of the following REAL ID Act documents: U.S. Passport, Passport Card, REAL Driver's License, Global Entry Card, U.S. Government CAC/PIV.

Pay

The typical base salary range for this position is $96,300 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $116,000 - $285,800 annually.
