About the role
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and support a large-scale modernization initiative focused on migrating legacy systems into cloud-native microservices. In this role, you will be instrumental in enabling engineering teams by designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, as well as developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise will support automation processes and streamline development workflows to facilitate modern software delivery practices. This position is ideal for a professional passionate about improving developer productivity, automating infrastructure, and working closely with cross-functional teams in a cloud-first environment. You will play a vital role in supporting security, reliability, and scalability initiatives, ensuring the seamless operation of cloud environments and contributing to the success of our clients' digital transformation journeys.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure to support various projects
- Develop, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple engineering squads
- Support cloud-native application deployments, automation, and infrastructure management
- Continuously improve software delivery processes and engineering efficiency
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and technical leadership to align infrastructure strategies with project goals
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation best practices to enhance scalability and reliability
- Support security, compliance, and scalability initiatives within cloud environments
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to strategic planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development and optimization
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
- Experience supporting production cloud environments
- Knowledge of cloud-native application deployment and management
- Experience working with containerized environments and Kubernetes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience collaborating with software engineering teams in Agile environments
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Experience building scalable deployment pipelines
- Ability to support distributed engineering teams effectively
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English
