Role Overview

We are seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer who embodies our values of curiosity, innovation, and passion for technology. This role demands more than just technical proficiency; it requires a candidate who fits our company culture and is eager to contribute to a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Azure
  • Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes
  • Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage Azure cloud-based production systems, ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems
  • Build, release, and configuration management of production systems
  • Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products/services
  • System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains
  • Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
  • Evaluating new technology options and vendor products
  • Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience with Azure, including Azure CLI, Azure Portal, and Azure App Service
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Dynatrace for monitoring and alerting is a plus
  • Ability to code and script in multiple languages (a polyglot mindset)
  • Experience with system and IT operations; comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
  • A strong grasp of automation tools
  • Data management skills with an understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • A strong focus on business outcomes
  • Comfortable with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders
