DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for automating infrastructure deployment, managing cloud services, and ensuring smooth operations across all systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab
• Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Implement and manage serverless architectures using Lambda and other relevant technologies
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure seamless integration between development and production environments
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Document processes and procedures for future reference and training purposes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with at least one major cloud provider
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery practices
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies
• Understanding of ITIL service management principles
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Knowledge of API design and implementation

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
