About the role
Join our clients Chief Data Office as a DevOps Engineer on the Quant Analytics Platforms team.
Responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure operations using IaC tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm for Kubernetes deployments
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
- Drive platform high availability and reliability at scale
- Build robust observability and alerting across the stack
- Implement security best practices aligned to regulatory and enterprise standards
- Trussleshoot and resolve issues across test and production environments
- Stay ahead of emerging tools and practices to continuously modernize the platform
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
- AWS (IAM, EC2, EBS, EFS)
- VPC Networking
- Route53
- EKS
- CloudWatch & CloudWatch Alerts
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Terragrunt
- Helm
- Git / GitHub / GitLab
- Splunk
- OTel
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- AlertManager
- Python
- Shell Scripting
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Agile experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Skills
- Experience with distributed file storage technologies (NFS, FSx for OpenZFS, etc.)
Bonus
- Experience with financial markets and instruments
- Front Office engineering experience at an Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, or Investment Bank
- R / RStudio experience
- Go experience
