DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are searching for a quality Software Engineer with an interest in the world of DevOps to build and maintain infrastructure and tools for our business.

Responsibilities

• Work with software and systems engineers to develop tools to support the development team
• Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipeline
• Automate releases of our in-house systems
• Contribute to design and planning sessions
• Develop C# .NET solutions for the organization
• Automate the deployment of in-house applications
• Maintain tools for use by the development teams
• Debug and maintain written code
• Define and organize projects on an ongoing basis
• Report and resolve issues related to application infrastructure
• Identify and handle technical risks and issues
• Work in a project team alongside other developers
• Provide technical support to stakeholders in the organization
• Report on project statuses and developments to senior team members
• Participate in project meetings with management and other team members

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
• C#, .NET 8 (or higher), GitHub and Git experience
• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer
• Ability to write clean, easy-to-understand code
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision
• Familiar with Docker and its use in service-based architecture
• Experience with scripting using PowerShell and Bash
• Experience with self-hosted GitHub Actions
• Experience with Markdown and Yaml
• Intermediate Linux knowledge
• Intermediate Windows knowledge
• Experience working in an agile environment

Preferred

• Knowledge of other coding-languages (Python, Golang, C++, etc)
• Experience working with automated testing tools
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge/Experience working with Microsoft Bicep
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible
