Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry best practices to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Write and maintain scripts in languages such as Python and Bash to automate routine tasks and improve operational workflows.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker to support scalable and consistent application deployments.
- Configure and maintain configuration management tools such as Puppet to automate system provisioning and configuration.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Maintain artifact repositories using tools like Artifactory to manage build artifacts and dependencies effectively.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve system reliability and deployment speed.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of application; candidates without an active, in-scope clearance will not be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation purposes.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform and or similar.
- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with artifact repository management, preferably using Artifactory.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work on U.S. government contracts and able to maintain the required clearance and polygraph status (if applicable) for the duration of the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with additional infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Familiarity with other scripting or programming languages beyond Python, such as Go or Ruby.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps team environments.
