About the role

PPLIED is a hands-free hiring platform designed to streamline the job search and recruitment process for both recruiters and job seekers. Recruiters post a role once and receive daily shortlists of top-matched candidates, eliminating the need for job boards, manual searching, and fees. Job seekers upload a resume once, and PPLIED automatically matches and applies to real roles on their behalf, removing the need for applications and cover letters. Communication is direct: when a recruiter is interested, they reach out to the candidate through the platform. PPLIED offers a simple, free solution that addresses both sides of the hiring equation at Pplied.com.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines for PPLIED's hiring platform
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates
• Configure and monitor CI/CD pipelines
• Administer Linux-based systems to ensure reliability and performance
• Collaborate closely with software developers to improve release processes
• Automate workflows
• Enhance observability and incident response
• Contribute to security best practices, performance optimization, and cost-efficient cloud resource management

Requirements

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar solutions
• Software Development skills, preferably in scripting or backend languages, to support automation, tooling, and integration tasks
• Continuous Integration skills, with hands-on experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• System Administration and Linux skills, including managing servers, containers, and networking in cloud or hybrid environments
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization abilities, with focus on reliability and security
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, communicating clearly with engineering and product teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
