DevOps Engineer

About the role

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Full-time Career Level Dev Sec Ops Engineer. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain our on-prem hyperconverged cloud infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain on-prem hyperconverged cloud infrastructure
• Ensure the smooth operation of applications and services
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab
• Implement configuration management methodologies using Ansible
• Work with key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
• Collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals including software and systems engineers, architects, and project engineering team

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance (Final Secret)
• Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting
• Proven Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
• Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell or Ansible or other coding experience

Qualifications

• A final Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack or Nutanix
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory

Skills

• Strong background in cloud computing
• Passion for automating administrative tasks using a wide range of technologies including Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, and Gitlab CI/CD pipelines

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.

Schedule

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Location

This position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.
