DevOps Engineer
About the role
As a DevOps engineer, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will also support the development of critical cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage container management software to solve client challenges
- Guide automation strategy and mentor junior engineers
- Lead CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps maturity efforts
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and maintain automation capabilities using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform
- Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in IT, automation, or computer systems support
- Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving automation issues
- Experience with automation for CI/CD builds, regression testing, monitoring, or pipelines
- Experience in automation using Ansible or Ansible Automation Platform
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with operating systems such as RHEL and Windows
- Experience with virtualization, including VMware
- Experience supporting DoD or government agencies with a Secret clearance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, efficient CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
- Experience with application containerization
- Experience modeling network configurations in JSON or YAML
- Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible
- T/S clearance
- Master’s degree in STEM

Schedule
Employees working remotely or on a hybrid schedule may be required to work from a Booz Allen office or customer facility, depending on the role and specific needs.
