About the role
As a DevOps engineer, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and utilizes cloud capabilities. Your responsibilities include developing container management software to address clients' challenges, strengthening your DevOps platform knowledge, and recommending resources for client adoption of containers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage containerization technologies
- Manage software deployments through CI/CD pipelines
- Support strategy and design teams
- Ensure standards are met throughout the containerization process
- Recommend resources for managing and securing containers
- Support the development of critical cloud platforms
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies
- 2+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms
- 2+ years of experience managing software deployments through CI/CD pipelines
- Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
- Experience with OOP scripting or program languages
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
- Experience with continuous automation and deployment tools built on Kubernetes
- Experience with triaging and resolving issues in public cloud environments
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
