Trip to Devon and Somerset, UK
- Cycled in Exmoor
- Kayaked in Salcombe
- Hill walked above Porlock Weir
Found breathtaking scenery, secluded coves, empty estuaries, and magical coastlines. Enjoyed complete isolation with minimal effort.
- Visited CrabShell Inn for a pint
- Eat at CrabShack for a fresh catch dinner
- Swam in the river Exe at Exebridge
- Sat on a beach watching sunset with a fish and chip supper
Porlock Weir and the surrounding area became my "go-to" place to unwind. Headed to Culbone Church, the smallest parish church in England, and enjoyed a secluded beach with lush deciduous forests reaching to the rocky seashore.
The sea was completely still, inviting a swim but also strong currents.
