Device Technician
About the role
The Device Technician is a customer facing position that provides support to the organization's endpoint desktop computing environment. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance. Troubleshooting problems and resolving issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements and departmental practices is also part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, diagnose, repair, and upgrade all hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance.
- Provide assistance to onsite and remote end-users on a routine basis.
- Analyze user requests, build new endpoint computer systems, and deploy printers for small to medium-sized projects.
- Resolve incidents and tasks using ServiceNow and maintain computer equipment in the hardware asset management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required. Three or more years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.
- Minimum of one year of experience in application IS integration/development preferred.
- Good listening skills, ability to recognize problems and respond accordingly, systematic gathering of information, sorting through issues with assistance, seeking input from others, and making timely decisions.
- A clean drivers license is required for use of Lee Health System vehicles.
Qualifications

Skills
Must have strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows operating systems, network infrastructure, and troubleshooting tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.
