Supports preschool students with developmental and special education needs in an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Assists the teacher with implementing IEP goals
- Supports classroom routines, communication, and social-emotional learning
- Provides behavior support and personal care, including diapering and bathroom assistance
- Facilitates developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Works collaboratively with teachers and service providers to promote student independence, safety, engagement, and growth
