Responsibilities
- Ensure that the individuals we serve are receiving quality services and are engaged with the community.
- Cook up and manage all services and supports for the individuals served, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, benefits, etc.
- Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
- Aid in the ongoing development of behavior support strategies and ensure the implementation of these strategies, including providing training and assessing the effectiveness of the behavior support.
- Collaborate with all members of the individuals’ service team to ensure great communication and customer service is in place.
- Supervise Direct Support Professionals and make sure they are thoroughly trained and providing the best possible services.
- Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services are provided and coverage is in place for all shifts.
- Provide great customer service to individuals served, families/guardians, the county board, and all members of the service team.
Requirements
- A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities is required or a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in a related field.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Displays strong communication skills and possesses excellent decision-making and time-management skills.
