Development Operations Analyst

About the role

This role is based at one of our corporate offices in McLean, VA or New York, NY. This is your chance to be on our Development team who play a large part in driving Hilton's growth strategy through the addition of new hotels to our ever-growing portfolio!

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new development opportunities by reviewing site materials, conducting preliminary market and brand assessments, analyzing data to identify leads/opportunities, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to support strategic growth initiatives.
• Cook up and circulate data and analyses related to growth and pace.
• Create and develop visual presentations for the Development team.
• Pull, research, or enter data into spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and/or databases, and synthesize the data into clear, client- and executive-facing narratives.
• Organize internal and external meetings, conferences, and owner presentations in support of development pursuits and strategic relationship management.
• Maintain and promote good relationships with all team members within Legal, Business Analytics, AD&C, Operations, Feasibility, Brand, Communications, Commercial, Marketing, Loyalty, and other Hilton departments to streamline the development process.
• Projects you'll take ownership of include assembling and circulating data and analyses related to growth and pace, conducting market, competitor, and brand positioning analyses to support underwriting, feasibility, and development strategy, coordinating the analytics contributions to the development department's external and internal events such as ALIS, NYU, Lodging, all local real estate conferences and development forums, coordinating the assembly and distribution of deal informational packets for development, establishing procedures and processes to support development goals.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of work experience in analytics, real estate development, hospitality, consulting, investment analysis, or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, STR, COGNOS, Co-Star, ArcGIS, Complex Databases.
• High proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Travel up to 30%.
• Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA or New York, NY.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience using Lodging Econometrics.
• An understanding of hotel metrics and hotel branded landscape in the US and Canada.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, STR, COGNOS, Co-Star, ArcGIS, Complex Databases.
• High proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $60,000 – $85,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
