About the role
The successful candidate will oversee British Dressage activities in Scotland, promoting and developing the sport in the region.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and organise competition and training activities in Scotland
- Promote and develop British Dressage in the Scotland region
- Work closely with the volunteer Regional Committee for Scotland
- Main point of contact for all stakeholders in the region
- Manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
- Manage evening and weekend work, including overnight stays away from home
Requirements
- Independent, proactive, and self-motivated
- In-depth knowledge of dressage
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Full driving license and access to own car for travel
- Suitable working environment and good internet access
- High standards of computer literacy and extensive experience of Microsoft Office
Qualifications
A suitable candidate will have:
- An in-depth knowledge of dressage
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Skills
- Flexible approach to working
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Benefits
Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, with overnight stays away from home.
Pay
C. £34-38,000, subject to experience.
Schedule
Home based with extensive travel in the region.
