Development Officer (Scotland)

About the role

The successful candidate will oversee British Dressage activities in Scotland, promoting and developing the sport in the region.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and organise competition and training activities in Scotland
• Promote and develop British Dressage in the Scotland region
• Work closely with the volunteer Regional Committee for Scotland
• Main point of contact for all stakeholders in the region
• Manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
• Manage evening and weekend work, including overnight stays away from home

Requirements

• Independent, proactive, and self-motivated
• In-depth knowledge of dressage
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Full driving license and access to own car for travel
• Suitable working environment and good internet access
• High standards of computer literacy and extensive experience of Microsoft Office

Qualifications

A suitable candidate will have:

• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Benefits

Pay

C. £34-38,000, subject to experience.

Schedule

Home based with extensive travel in the region.
