About the role
The Development Officer is responsible for managing fundraising initiatives, cultivating relationships with donors, and overseeing grant applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to meet annual goals
- Cultivate and steward donor relationships through regular communication and events
- Research and identify potential funding sources and opportunities
- Prepare and submit grant proposals and reports
- Manage donor databases and track campaign progress
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on fundraising efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in development or fundraising
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CRM software
- Knowledge of nonprofit regulations and compliance

$50,000 - $60,000 annually
