About the role
The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of software development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of software development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from inception to deployment
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Facilitate regular team meetings and provide guidance on technical issues
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development management
- Proven track record of managing complex projects successfully
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
