Development/Major Gifts Officer

Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects
- Lead donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up efforts
- Develop individualized donor engagement strategies and moves-management plans
- Partner with leadership and board members on donor outreach and fundraising initiatives
- Track donor activity, pipeline progression, and fundraising efforts within CRM systems
- Support multi-year giving strategies, donor upgrades, and long-term retention efforts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of fundraising, donor relations, advancement, sales, or high-touch relationship management experience
- Experience managing donor portfolios, client relationships, or consultative outreach efforts
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with CRM platforms and donor databases strongly preferred
- Comfortable with donor-facing meetings, events, and strategic outreach
- Able to work occasional evenings/weekends tied to events and donor activities
