Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and test code to deliver functionality that aligns with business strategies and objectives.
• Utilize open-source technologies for proof of concepts and testing.
• Configure production clusters for multi-tenant platforms.
• Engage in knowledge-based recovery of incidents and events.
• Communicate effectively with end-users through verbal and written channels.
• Perform maintenance, deployments, and monitoring tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with other technology teams to achieve project goals.

Skills

• Proficiency in Java and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and open-source data technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Basic understanding of ITIL practices.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Ansible and Apache Hadoop.
• Experience in a service desk or operations center environment.
• Knowledge of Chef or similar configuration management tools.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $82 - $117 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
