About the role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced fundraising leader who is energized by building organizations through growth, and motivated by the opportunity to fuel a growing multiracial workers' movement where everyone shares in the prosperity we create together.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the organization's mission and goals
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate partners
- Manage donor stewardship efforts to deepen engagement and ensure long-term giving
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities
- Oversee the development of grant proposals and manage grant relationships
- Monitor and report on fundraising metrics to inform decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit setting
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and donor retention
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing budgets and financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
