Development Director

About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the organization's mission and goals
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate partners
• Manage donor stewardship efforts to deepen engagement and ensure long-term giving
• Collaborate with the leadership team to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities
• Oversee the development of grant proposals and manage grant relationships
• Monitor and report on fundraising metrics to inform decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Proven track record of increasing revenue and donor retention
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Experience managing budgets and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
